The Gentle Rebel

GR:The Rebel

Jumping off a pier into a fjord in Oslo

I spent most of my life thinking I wasn't much of a rebel.

I built a business, raised a family and generally got on with things. Then, in my fifties, I stopped drinking. It wasn't meant to be an act of rebellion. But looking back, it was probably my first.

I questioned something I'd always accepted as normal and discovered I could choose differently. That small decision changed much more than what was in my glass.

Since then I've become increasingly interested in what else we're allowed to question. How we work. How we spend our time. What success looks like. What we do with the next part of our lives.

The Gentle Rebel grew from there. I'm not here because I've figured it out. I'm here because I'm figuring it out.
